About Me
My name is Rachael, and I am proud to be a registered nurse. I graduated from nursing school in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I had the opportunity to work as a pediatric hematology and oncology nurse at a high-achieving children’s hospital in California, which has always been my dream and my whole purpose for becoming a nurse. I continued on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2017 and took a position as a Clinical Nurse Educator within my specialty.
In my career, I have held various roles, such as bedside nurse, charge nurse, and in-hospital clinical nurse educator. In these roles, I have worked directly with patients, supervised nurses on their shifts, and participated in the administrative team. We collaborated on staffing needs, critical patient decision-making, and hiring and onboarding experienced and new graduate nurses.
Nursing is my passion, and I truly value the care patients receive in and out of the hospital. My mission is to help new and aspiring nurses understand the best qualities that will make them stand out in their field while teaching the skills needed to prevent burnout and ensure a long, healthy nursing career.
